Here we have a historic Volkswagen Special Vehicle.
A LT35 that started its life in 1988 (E reg)
The vehicle is rated at 4400kg gross.
However this could be down graded to 3. 5t
The vehicle has been weighed as is on a local weigh bridge at 2680kg with what is in the vehicle currently to give a true idea of capacity.
The engine is a petrol 2400cc and runs well once it is warmed up. It will require a service and going over as I have not touched the engine in my ownership. It has always started and will tick over all day without over heating.
It has covered just 76, 500 miles.
There are no obvious leaks and it looks as good as one could expect.
The vehicle has clearly been stored indoors for the duration of its life and Judging from its extensive service history & back ground with ITN it has wanted for nothing.
There is a folder full of receipts for works carried out on the Lt35 to include axle rebuilds etc.
The condition underneath is very genuine and solid. I go as far to say I would challenge anyone to find a more straight genuine example.

I bought the vehicle during Covid with some wild ideas to convert into a quirky camper.
Life took over again and the project fell by the wayside.
I do however start and drive around the yard to make sure nothing is to seize and to keep the engine moving and oiled.
Looking at it now i am not sure if it would make a better food truck? Or keep it a historic vehicle with a quirky “stealth style camper conversion inside”

There is a solar set up and a split charge set up installed from the alternator.
It is a really fun special vehicle with the quirky flip out side ladder so you can climb onto the roof.
I bought it from Kent and had it driven up on a flat bed lorry as the brakes are not good and I don’t have trade plates.
It would need to be removed on a lorry as I would not recommend driving it on the road even with trade plates as the brakes will need a proper service.
It is a genuine sale of a special van that I will be sad to see go. I just simply do not have the time due to other commitments to give this van the love and care it deserves.
