For sale is my stunning low mileage (89k) Land Rover Defender 90 TDCi Puma 2. 4 soft top truck (2010/ 60) in classic Tamar Blue. A truly wonderful example of a heritage themed Defender that receives admiration in all its encounters. The body remains in fabulous order, age and character related marks may exist, but none I feel are of particular note. The Landy really looks well holding a fantastic gloss and shine to the paint.
Originally a pick-up 90, this light utility 4x4 has been converted to a soft-top early this year and subsequently all parts remain in excellent near new condition. It comprises of a powder coated black heavy duty frame bar set, alongside a lovely natural premium canvas roof in sand. The canvas allows for all sides to be rolled up in minutes, rolled back to create a sun roof or completely removed if you desire. The canvas features a fixed rear window which is in great clear order.
The interior of the 90 has benefited from upgrades from Exmoor Trim. These comprise of a pair of new premium sport seats (very comfortable and supportive) alongside an XL Premium Cubby box, both in Oxford Tan and featuring a classic fluted design pattern. These are tied together by a lovely natural wood steering wheel, which compliments the driving setup well. All remain as new and in fantastic condition. The remaining switchgear and rubber matting are also in great condition, all in all resulting in an interior cabin that always feels an enjoyable place to be.
Mechanically the Defender is in excellent order, starting on the button. The drivetrain is all very healthy indeed, it shifts through the gears nice and fluently. The Defender has an L. O. F. upgraded output shaft, alongside upgraded front & rear ATB differentials from Ashcroft transmissions, providing enhanced capability for any terrain you wish to encounter. During its routine driving, it performs very well and motorway cruising is again effortless. The general electrics and audio system (upgraded Blaupunkt bluetooth CD stereo & Pioneer speakers) work well and as expected.
Further upgrades include matching body coloured Heritage front grille/ headlamp set, alongside a genuine Land Rover heritage emblem. These are complimented by a pair of genuine Land Rover Heritage mud flaps. A complete set of 5x Wolf styled wheels in matching Tamar Blue have been fitted, all shod with wonderful Falken Wildpeak MT/ R M+S terrain tyres (all again as new including spare) making the drive excellent (New locking nuts / wheel nuts also fitted). New pair of folding steps are also fitted and as well as a lovely genuine Land Rover rubber load liner for the back, this is accessed by the drop down tailgate. A Land Rover alarm/ immobiliser is also fitted. All components really come together well to give a truly magnificent aesthetic.
The chassis, cross member, bulkhead are all structurally sound and in a very excellent solid condition. It has been very well preserved over its years and there is no attention due in this area anytime soon. (Still retains original factory stamps and stickers).
The Landy comes complete with its original jack and tool-pack. There are general books (now onto its second service book), paperwork and MOTs that accompany the car. The vehicle holds its MOT until January 2027 (it sailed through with no advisories) and recently underwent a full service (approx 200mi ago) from a Land Rover specialist. Additionally new rear brake pads and calipers were fitted, alongside the usual oil, air, fuel filters, engine oil. This is a well maintained Defender and it really shows with just how well it handles and drives.
Overall it is a delightful example of a Soft-top Defender that really is a thoroughly enjoyable experience to drive and remains ready to be enjoyed on its next adventure!
