Description
I purchased this lovely Audi TT back in 2018. at that time it had covered just 59k and had clearly been well cared for by its previous owners with a large file of receipts and service records.
I used the TT as my daily driver for the next couple of years and it never missed a beat. In recent years, I passed the car on to my partner who has enjoyed it ever since. Sadly, she is no longer able to drive due to poor health and as we currently have 3 cars, the TT sadly has to go.
The current mileage is 122500 and may increase slightly as I take the car for the occasional run. The current MOT expires on 21st May but I have booked it in for a fresh MOT on the 7th April so she will be provided with a fresh 12 month MOT.
Overall, this lovely car presents really well in what I feel, is one of the best colour combinations of a rich blue exterior with the custard yellow leather interior and turns heads wherever it goes, particularly when the sun is out and the roof is down! However, it is of course 23 years old and as you would expect, it does show signs of age with little chips and scuffs here and there but looks great overall.
The in car Bose stereo system no longer works so will need looking at or replacing as will the radio aerial which I accidently broke whilst putting on the car cover! but as we have not been using the car very much in recent years, it has not been looked at.
The soft top roof was replaced last year with a brand new one and was beautifully finished at a cost of nearly £700. 00 so is in great condition.
We have 2 keys for the car and the cover for when the roof is down.
This is a lovely example of the more desirable 225 BHP, BAM TT which are becoming increasingly rare. Not perfect, but a really nice, genuine example of this fast becoming "classic", little car.
*** Update***
New MOT now carried out, so now has full MOT until 21st May 2027.
Also has new clutch fitted and two new tyres (cost £1500. 00) also on 21st May. So all ready for its next owner to enjoy!Prior to buying this TT, my partner was driving another TT but with the 180 BHP engine and the 5 speed gearbox. When I decided to get this one, It was because it had the 225 BAM engine with the 6 speed gearbox and I am very glad I did! Although it is a firmer ride than the 180, It is a fantastic and rewarding car to drive particularly as the power is delivered through the four wheel drive, Quatro system and never fails to put a smile on your face! Around town it is well mannered and smooth but get the roof down in the warm sun and there is nothing like it! a real feel good tonic!
