Description
Honda XL250 Motorsport 1974 model. This came into the UK in June 1974 unlike many others for sale, with five former owners. I've owned the motorbike since December 2013.
New paintwork / with the correct decals on the fuel tank, headlight bucket, front and rear mudguards.
Shot blasted frame, swingarm, seat unit base, plus others bits... so no rust issues.
In great condition with the carburetor stripped, cleaned and just rebuilt with a Keyster kit from David Silver in April 2026.
New coil and condenser in 2023.
New spark plug / HT lead plug cap in April 2026
New Honda ignition points April 2026
The only issue i've is the handle bar indicator switch has broken inside on the headlight main beam slider. I've a thick paper file with parts purchased over the years in my ownership etc.
The V5 is in my name, along with two sets of keys etc.
