• Two complete sets of keyEffortlessly elegant the W113 230SL Pagoda gives off the style and sophistication that usually comes with far more exotic or expensive classics, but in my own opinion there are not many more beautiful or genuinely more usable than the Pagoda.
The car was originally delivered to Mrs. Linda S. Morton of Worcester Massachusetts in the USA in March 1966 and remained in America until April 2014, when it was imported to the UK by a Mercedes-Benz enthusiast from whom I bought it in August 2014 (so believed only 3 owners). I have the original bill of sale dating from December 1965 as well as the original service record and all the original handbooks. Originally Dark Blue DB332, the car was repainted "Bohemian Blue" in the 1990s following some repair work and this colour name certainly suits the car.
On arrival in the UK the car was registered as GVU337D. From 2015 until March 2026, it was registered as MBZ230, and recently it has been re-registered as GVU337D. Hence, the photos show the car with both registrations.
