Ford Model A Fordor 1929 “ The Al Capone look “
The car was completely rebuilt in America prior to being imported in 2014 ( there are photographs in the History file ) It was initially owned by Guy Walker ( Tim Walker Restorations ) as his personal car and is still featured in the company advertising. I bought the car from Guy in 2022. I have used the car for both short and long journeys including to Devon from the Cotswolds for the Model A Club Tour in 2023. The car appears to have done only 3500 miles since its rebuild and has needed little maintenance other than annual oil changes. It had a new Optima battery, fuel cock and Lanogard treatment last year.
The car remains in excellent condition both mechanically and structurally. The paint on both front doors has some damage from the removal of Advertising by the previous owner which I have not dealt with.
The car is LHD and 3. 3 litres and drives well. I am sure it will provide many future adventures for the next owner.
It is worth pointing out that seatbelts have been installed prior to my ownership allowing some restraint for both front seat and rear seat passengers or dogs
