RIGHT HAND DRIVE 1976 Classic VW Volkswagen Karmann Cabriolet.
The car starts, runs and drives really well. It is has a single carburettor 1600cc engine which provides ample power. All gears select without any issues. Gear change is simple and smooth. Brakes are good for a car of this age.
The soft top / hood appears is in excellent condition with a cream headlining. The roof goes down and back up easily and is simple to operate. The car interior is the original mottled beige and is good for its age with beige carpets. There are a few age related marks on the interior and a slit in the drivers seat cushion but it is generally very good.
The electrics work well and the body is solid. There is evidence of historic repairs to the underside but overall the car is very tidy. The history folder shows the car underwent quite a comprehensive restoration at some point. It would appear that a lot of money was spent on the car when it was restored and that is reflected in the current condition.
The paintwork is acceptable and does have age and use related faults but overall it presents really well.
The car has a decent history folder with photos of the restoration.
