Description
The 3000GT was Mitsubishi’s entry into the hotly contested late 80s super coupe segment. In VR-4 3L 24V twin turbo 300bhp form, it could hit 60 from standstill in a shade over 5 seconds.
Of the handful of good survivors, this car must be one of the lowest mileage. A high performance VR-4 model, it has covered less than 3, 500 miles since the vendor’s family acquired it in the USA and registered it in the UK in 1992. it joined an interesting collection of cars that has ben carefully preserved following his passing in 1994.
Finished in period-popular ice white with a black leather interior, it is about as close to a brand new 3000GT as it is possible to get.
The car has been in storage and off the road since the last MOT expired in 2015. Thankfully it has been stored to a high standard so presents very well in photos, which you can check.
These clever, all-wheel-drive coupes were the supercars of their day. This one will undoubtedly appeal to their many fans.
