Description
This is my unique Ariel Leader Trials motorcycle which I have built and developed over the last few years. My ambition was to create and ride a competitive genuine pre 65 trials bike retaining the core Ariel components.
The original box steel frame was reduced in width and reconfigured for tele front forks. Original Leader parts used include the base engine and gearbox, alloy hubs with late type brake plates, lengthened and widened swinging arm.
Wheels built with stainless spokes and IRC tube type tyres.
Fuel tank is 4 litre aluminium with internal baffle
Aluminium Barrels are bespoke Fahron Engineering
Special stainless two into one front exhaust with aluminium box and muffler
Del Orto 26mm carburettor and foam air filter
Special low second gear pairing and sleeve gear pair to lower the overall gearing
Yamaha Scorpa clutch
Bettor 35mm front forks and OZO Expert rear shocks
Aluminium/ Dural rubber mounted bash plate
Fibreglass tank-seat cover (mould for laying up replacement cover part of sale)
Renthal bars and plastic mudguards
