1985 Moto Guzzi LeMans 1000.
One owner bike from new (plus the owner's wife after his death) until October 2024.
Completely rebuilt after the owner's retirement by Italia Moto in Lincoln, with bills for £6000+ then put in storage for several years.
I checked it over and gave it some recommissioning, new fluids etc, and it is now a lovely bike to ride.
Starts first time, Idles nicely.
Went for a 90 mile ride last week and it was lovely.
Historic Status so free tax, MOT Exempt (was MOT'd in November 2024 with no advisories).
Standard spec other than; Hagon Shocks, Keihan Stainless Steel Exhaust system, WP Steering Damper, Pirhana Ignition.
Comes with two keys, a box of small spares including new carb rubbers, seat fairing, extensive history folder including V5c in my name, Old V5, many previous MOT certificates, tax discs, invoices, receipts and information, original bill of sale and handbook, and a Haynes manual.
Not a concourse bike, but with one man ownership, very honest, attractive and well looked after. A worthy addition to a collection.
