After initially listing the vehicle based on its special status as a collector's item, I have now decided on a market-oriented price adjustment. My goal is to offer this B5 at a rate reflecting current market conditions.
Production number 009 was factory-deployed for international press, TV productions, and commercial photography, representing the brand in media worldwide.
This history is fully documented by TV reports (including DW-TV) and extensive press material, as shown in the opening images of this advertisement.
Technically, the B5 is in excellent condition and has been meticulously maintained with a full service history. In September 2024 (at 212, 037 km), the car underwent a comprehensive inspection directly at ALPINA in Buchloe, where the radial supercharger and the TÜV (MOT) were renewed.
To guarantee an absolutely flawless condition upon handover, a new TÜV inspection and a full service will be performed again at a BMW partner prior to sale.
The vehicle is accident-free and remains in its valuable original paint. To consistently preserve its authenticity, age-related signs of wear such as minor stone chips have been deliberately conserved with a touch-up pen rather than being repainted.
