For sale is my lovely 1970 Aston Martin DBS Vantage - an original matching-numbers manual Vantage car from factory which I have had the pleasure of owning for the past 5 years. Just prior to, and also during my own ownership, the car has benefited from a significant spend focused on the mechanical aspects of the car. This really is a driver's DBS - the triple Weber carbs and lovely 5-speed ZF box make for a superb driving experience - a million miles away from the slightly ponderous non-Vantage automatic DBS models! The car is in very original condition throughout, including the interior which has a lovely patina. The DBS spent some 20 years or so abroad in a drier climate, so also has had the benefit of avoiding our weather for a significant chunk of its life. During my ownership I have also kept the car in a humidity controlled Carcoon. I have reported the mileage as it appears on the odometer but cannot vouch for it! I have a copy of the original build sheet together with some history, invoices for recent mechanical work, original owners manual and a copy of the workshop manual. A lovely original factory Vantage DBS with 5-speed ZF manual gearbox, making for an engaging classic Aston driving experience.
