Description
Fully and professionally restored in 2009 for the second owner, with 2 folders of photographs and records. Sold in 2018 to the 3rd elderly owner who sold it to me in June 2021. I had been looking for a long time, in an effort to buy one before my father died. He had one when he was a bomber pilot in WW2 and always spoke longingly of it. Sadly I found this just after he died.
I have ridden it occasionally but now is the time to say goodbye.
The bike is in very good condition. It starts easily, runs well and charges well. It has an oil tap fitted to avoid wet sump.
It is a correct numbers bike, known to the owners club.
The right hand header pipe has flakey chrome (a new one from Armours is £114).
There is a tray of spares including a genuine Miller headlamp shell (Lucas currently fitted), a new front tyre and numerous books.
More photos and video on request.
