Super rare steel framed Laverda Diamante 668, believed to be one of only 2 left on the road in the UK. Good condition and riding beautifully. I have just ridden it round the North Peninnes and Yorkshire Dales and it is going really well. It has a current MOT, just had new rear brake pads, engine oil change and some fresh Pirellis fitted (August). Will come with some tatty spare yellow bodywork, silencers, Marchenese wheels, and loads of spares including a spare engine (see below). I have the standard wing mirrors and passenger footrests for it too. I went to the recent Italian meet at 'The Motorist' and its amazing the reaction it gets, people love it.
I bought this bike three years ago from a family who had owned, but largely stored it, for years. I have recommissioned it and had the engine rebuilt by Flat Out Moto in Boroughbridge as the original ran a big end. They used the best bits from the original and a spare I bought off an ILOC member who used to race the 650 Sport. It now rides beautifully and is in amazing condition considering it has not been restored. Better still, all spares are available from 3C Moto in Italy, which is run by some old factory employees, so they are wonderful. It has had new fuel lines & filters in the tank, plugs, fluids, oils, air filter, countless new fasteners, a new battery and chain and sprockets.
