2007 Mercedes-Benz E280 CDi Elegance. Five seater in Indium Grey Metallic and Cashmere leather interior. Two family owners from new, with my wife owning the car for the past five years. Mileage is 116800. Full service history with main dealer Tony Purslow Ltd or respected Mercedes Specialist Prestige Car Service. Most recent service was in August of 2025 and the MOT runs until September 12th 2026.
Too much paperwork to list here (please see pictures), but it does include the original new car sales invoice from Tony Purslow Ltd of Guildford, and plenty of recent invoices for suspension bushes, and track rod ends which were done to correct a recent MOT failure and advisories. In our time with the car the turbo has also been replaced and the rear air suspension has been replaced with conventional coil springs - a desirable change on an older car.
There is some minor paint damage to a couple of wheel arches, please see the pictures, and the windscreen needs replacing, the crack appeared very recently and we didn’t have time to have the screen changed before moving the insurance on to the new car. Very easily sorted by the new owner once insured. The advantage for the new owner being a brand new windscreen, which is always nice to have now and again!! I’m not aware of the car having been in any collisions, certainly not in our time.
One other error, is the right turn signal produces a warning on start up, but once the turn signal is activated this disappears after one flash. The righthand wing mirror was replaced a little while ago, which is the source of the issue. This was replaced as the indicator unit had failed rather than any collision.
Other than the above the car is in extremely good order, with no rips or tears to the upholstery etc. The boot space has been protected by a load liner, which is included in the sale. Also included is an official Mercedes Benz oddments bin (see pictures), that we never used, and I’ve not seen on other Mercedes estates. All tyres are recent and have good tread depth, air conditioning works, as do the electric seats and windows. Pictures show private plate, which is not included in the sale, original registration is HY57 MFF, registered new on 9th September 2007
It’s rare these days to find a car with such low owners and comprehensive paperwork going back to the original sale, any inspection welcome.
