1961 Chevrolet Apache C20 Custom Cab Fleetside Pickup
Lovely unmolested truck, one older repaint on a really nice original truck.
Same owner from new in 1961 to 2007 when it came to the UK.
Truck was only used for holidays with a camper on the back, was never a work truck.
Still has its original 283ci V8 mated to a 3 speed column change manual transmission, recently ugraded to a hydraulic clutch.
Other upgrades include power steering and power brakes.
One of the nicest driving stock trucks ive owned.
Starts first time every time and with its original 2 barrel Rochester still fitted is surprisingly economical.
All the guages work, the heater works, original manual choke and manual throttle control all work.
Truck rides well, has the optional IFS front and coil sprung rear rather than leaf springs
The paintwork presents well with just a few minor blemishes, being a Custom Cab model it has the extra chrome side and cab trim and chrome bumpers.
Still has original seat cloth in lovely condition and rare original steering wheel still with its chrome horn ring intact.
Doors close as they should and lock on the key.
Its hard to find nice original trucks that havent been dragged out of a field and need everything or trucks that havent been heavily modified. This is a very nice genuine largely original truck
