This is a remarkable, time-capsule example of the Dyane 6. Finished in its original factory Bleu Lagune (AC 639), the car retains its incredibly rare, original turquoise and black striped fabric interior. Having spent the last two ownerships as a cherished vehicle with minimal road use, the interior is clean and the dashboard is sound.
Being a March 1982 (ORGA 1890) build, this model benefits from factory-fitted inboard disc brakes, offering a much more confident driving experience in modern traffic than earlier drum-braked versions. It starts on the button, mostly, idles smoothly, and the 16, 000-mile engine provides the spirited performance these air-cooled twins are famous for.
While the 2CV is a common sight at classic shows, the Dyane 6 is a significantly rarer beast, with fewer than 500 estimated to be left on UK roads. Finding one with such low mileage and the original "high-spec" features (including the rear C-pillar windows) is becoming nearly impossible. This car is ready to be driven, shown, and enjoyed by its next custodian.
