Possibly one of the hardest decisions I've made in recent times, my Tf 160 is looking for a new home.
I purchased this car in 2017 and have loved every minute of our 9 years and 30, 000 miles together. The car has wanted for nothing, if it was needed it got it if it didn't need it it still got it!!
MOT wasn't due until July but it was retested last week so all good to go, lots and lots of paperwork to go with the car, regular servicing carried out by myself, with the oil having been changed at least once a year but usually more often, head gasket was replaced by Rough luck racing in April 2022, timing belts have been replaced twice in my ownership the last having been done by rough luck racing in November 2022, other work has been carried out by Retro Sports Cars. The CAT was replaced with a genuine one from Rimmer Bros about three years ago, I'd had a couple of aftermarket ones but they constantly caused problems with the management light but no problems since the genuine one was fitted.
There are plenty of upgrades as well, it has a SAWs remap, Taipan induction kit, TT Mk7 back box, Bilstein suspension kit, Mike Satur roll hoops and wind deflector, Mike Satur seatbelt guides, heater controls, Oxford leather seats, Magnecor Red sports leads, Spark steering wheel, LE500 piano black centre console trim and dash surround, the binnacle has been replaced, brake servo stiffening bracket, stainless underfloor pipes, glass heated rear screen, there is a new Rich Brook car cap included that has only been used once and quite a few spares that I have lying about.
The battery was replaced last year and, during the time it was sat in the garage the keys lost their codes, two complete replacements were purchased and coded by Technozen. The wheels were refurbished by The Wheel Specialist in 2021 and still look as good now as they did when they were first done.
The sills are in really good condition, there are a few stone chips here and there but it really is in good order, i would happily set off anywhere in it. It has just under 81, 000 on the clock and may rise a little should the sun be out at the weekend
