This particular bike is a superb example of this later and best version of the non-VTEC VFR.
I bought this bike last year, intending to tour on it and so on, then I almost immediately badly injured my rotator cuff, so now I can’t ride it!
“Sit up and beg” is the best I will be able to do for the foreseeable future.
It really is as nice as it looks in the picture, and the bike rides, handles and brakes beautifully. It’s a hoot.
The foot-pegs have been lowered, and the bars have been raised to afford a bit more comfort, so it’s actually not too bad at all now, and is very good at higher speeds and motorway speeds.
The chap who I bought it from had sympathetically recommissioned it doing the front end, servicing calipers, and engine etc. He did a good job. I put it through its’ MoT a couple of weeks ago and it went through with flying colours, bar a warning that the rear brakes pads were nearing the service limit.
