A lovely, very original 1999 VFR800 in Pearl Shining Yellow.
Excellent condition throughout. Covered 26, 931 miles with just three owners and still wearing its original supplying Dealer number plate! (Underneath which is the factory manufacturing sticker!)
The plastics are in excellent order, with no cracks and just some very minor chips. The seat is in great order, as are the bars and clocks and amazingly the standard exhaust has no scratches or dents!
Comes with the colour matched seat cowl (and I have the grab rails and fixings too if you want to take a pillion).
Tyres are virtually new Michelin Pilot Road 4 GTs which were replaced less than a year ago and have done minimal mileage since.
The original Honda toolkit is intact under the seat and I also have a Haynes manual and colour matched Oxford tank bag.
This bike has been serviced every year and the book stamped (see pics). V5C present and in my name and address, as are both keys.
This bike was part-exchanged at my local Suzuki Dealer and I bought it to use as ‘winter bike’. However, after a few hours of cleaning, I’ve realised it’s far too good for that and have bought an old Bandit instead!
I test rode the bike for about half an hour and it rides beautifully, very smooth, pulling strongly with that unmistakeable gear-driven cam whine!
These are a rare sight nowadays, especially in yellow.
MOT runs until the end of September, but I’m happy to re-MOT for the new owner once sold. Bike is currently SORN’d and I’m in no hurry to sell. Listing now in case anyone is interested, if not I’ll keep it until the spring.
