Description
1963 BSA Golden Flash A10 650cc
Started life on 11th March 1963 as a police bike stationed at Bridgend for Glamorgan constabulary.
It then was owned by John Reeve from Cardigan until 1987 when the bike was sold and fully restored by a BSA competent mechanic.
It was restored to a very high level as seen in the photos, and dry stored until 2024 when I bought the bike and commissioned it.
As it was stood for so long I’ve had to have the magneto fully restored by Tony Cooper and still has a long warranty for this part, and the original speedo renovated.
New battery
New tyres
I have completed 1700 miles since ownership and ran the bike in gently changing oil every 500 miles to get to its present mileage.
It starts first kick and has never let me down, all gears work as they should.
It has a dating certificate from the BSA owners club to confirm engine and frame is original as it left the factory.
Starts first kick, and sounds great
Selling as too heavy and due to medical problemsI get lots of interest and questions at bike nights.
It has lot of power and everything works as it should
