Avon Roadrider tyres in good condition and MotoBatt battery less than 2 years old

Very good condition, recently serviced (oils, filters, plugs). [Note: last MoT certificate was in 2025, just before I registered the bike as an historic vehicle]

All bodywork is in unscratched/ undented condition with excellent paintwork, except for one small (approx. 1mm x 2mm) stone chip at the edge of the petrol tank - see detail photo.

Note: one of the photo's shows the bike with the panniers mounted; this also shows how it looks with the standard handlebars before I fitted the R80G/ S bars and nose fairing/ hand guards. It's a simple job to swap the handlebars back; or I can do it at time of sale if the buyer prefers. The single spotlamp is a period Cibie unit, can be included in sale or removed.

Price is as shown and is 'ONO'Generally considered the easiest & best-handling Airhead owing to its geometry (essentially R80G/ S but with 19” front wheel), monolever rear suspension and light weight. That is my experience, it handles and turns in really well. I've had an R100RS and R90S in the past and the R80ST is definitely more agile, but also is steady over white lines and longitudinal grooves whereas the earlier airheads could 'white line' and feel a bit squirrely. The "R100ST" badges are a previous owner's addition, not a model BMW ever made but the Siebenrock 980cc kit gives a useful boost in torque and power without affecting vibration (same piston mass as standard BMW R80 pistons) and is popular and well-proven. I've used the bike for VMCC club runs, UK tours and general year-round use and it's been great; I'm simply selling to make space for a new 'all-round' bike.
