The bike has been cosmetically modified to R80 GS spec with Dakar exhaust cans and GS front and rear mudguards, which makes it a lower-slung machine compared to a standard GS due to the 19-inch front wheel instead of 21-inch on the R80 GS.
The original shock absorber has been replaced with an EMC unit and the road tyres have been swapped for Dunlop Trailmax semi-road/ off-road rubber.
The gearbox and clutch have been rebuilt and have 1, 500 km on them.
Maintenance has been carried out by Atelier Légendes Motociste, a specialist in classic BMWs in Neuilly-sur-Marne.
Engine oil and filter change completed for sale.
I also have the original parts (not included in the bike's sale price).
The bike is in perfect working order.
MOT passed.
Ideal bike for those wanting a lower GS.
