Description
Crayford Mini Mojito.
Built with Heritage panels and using the extended floorpan of the original mini countyman in order to gain comfortable seating for 4 people, the Crayford Mojito has been engineered with correct strengthening in order to accept the extended wheelbase.
Some 500 hours in body and panel work alone have created an open car that drives and handles like a normal Mini with a roof.
As a fully open vehicle the specification of the Crayford Mojito includes materials that have been acquired from the luxury boat industry. The front and rear seats are trimmed in the same material found on most luxury boats, water and sun resistant. The Flooring used in the car was made to measure from decking found on luxury boats and can withstand moisture and sun damage. The custom built and detachable roof cover was manufactured from boat grade material to withstand sun damage.
The total restoration and build also included all new running gear and suspension as well as new wiring, instrumentation and a rebuilt 848cc engine. Based on an original 1962 Mk1 Mini, the Mk1 Mini look has been retained with a set of Mk1 Cooper S rims.
