A very low mileage, collectible Rover 75.... Just 34, 000 miles, mainly travelled by its former owner who purchased & collected the car directly from the factory....
Being offered for sale is our very genuine, original and very low mileage Rover 75 Club SE 1. 8 Turbo, with automatic transmission.
Beautifully presented in British Racing Green and has only travelled 34, 000 miles.
Mk1 1. 8cc petrols with an automatic transmission are very rare, and low mileage examples in this condition are now very hard to find.
This car would appeal to a like minded enthusiast who is willing to keep it in its present condition and will only be sold as such.
The current MOT expires 29th April 2027 (No Advisories) and the car has recently received a fresh oil and filter service.
A brief history….
The previous owner, Mr Phillips, purchased the car from MG Rover Direct (Longbridge Factory) in June 2004 when it had travelled just 5, 000 miles and was just eleven months old. It’s first service being carried out at the factory prior to handover.
The gentleman added a further 15, 000 miles over the next two years until 2006, and from then on until 2018 the car was used sparingly, only racking up another 12, 000 miles in those twelve years.
In 2018 the vehicle was pretty much retired full-time to sit alongside his other classic British marques, such as Mg & Aston Martin.
After the sad passing of Mr Phillips, the car eventually became available in 2024 and found its way to my Father & myself, passionate MG Rover enthusiasts….
It was my Father’s intention to keep her in storage, alongside our other MG’s & Rover’s (we currently have 7) and just like Mr Phillips, only use her very occasionally and take her to shows etc.
However, due to my Father’s age (he’s now in his late 80’s) and ill health, we have decided to reduce our collection.

You will find the vehicle to be in extremely good condition throughout……
The paintwork has a beautiful lustre and is free of major scratches & dents.
The interior is immaculate (smoke, pet & child free) and the head-lining is secure and free from sagging.
The boot is again, very clean and bone dry.
The 16’’ Union alloy wheels are unrestored & original, totally free from damage and mated to a matching set of Pirelli P6000 tyres.
Under the bonnet is original. It has never been touched (steam cleaned or detailed etc)......
The quiet engine instantly bursts into life at the turn of the key and the automatic transmission responds precisely as you would expect……
We don’t have any documentation of the head-gasket ever being replaced, and there are no evidential issues.
