Offered here is an extremely rare and desirable 3. 0 Carrera - just 1123 were made with just 281 made in right hand drive, the sportomatic were even rarer, its estimated that only about 20 - 30 were supplied to the UK market and now with many converted to manual makes this car in the words of my local Porsche specialist a ‘Unicorn car’
This car was acquired by Mr A Bishop in June 1984 with around 70, 000 miles on the clock, Mr Bishop kept it then till 2018 covering just 6000 miles in his 34 years of ownership, in this time the car was serviced and maintained by Pickup, Leask Porsche in West Hampstead.
between 2019 and 2021 with the mileage now at 76, 500 the car was repainted by Classic Porsche Repairs the interior was professionally refreshed with new special order cork carpets, the suspension sysystem and braking was all fully restored again by Classic Porsche repairs, total costs in this period were £16, 500
In December 2023 the car was then bought by Hexagon Classics who I purchased the car from, Hexagon did a full engine and gearbox rebuild at the cost of close to £20, 000 and the car has done less than 1500 miles since then.
