Hi all,
Needing to put my Camaro up for sale to fund another project! Details as follows:
1977 Camaro Type LT
350 w/ 4 speed manual
Bought in December 2024 and used it every day for over a year until I finished building another car, and now does not get the use it deserves.
Such a fun car to drive, very enjoyable and sounds great.
In my ownership I have done the following:
• New Clutch
• New starter motor
• New alternator
• New water pump
• Spark plugs and carb tune up
• Brake shoes, pads and handbrake cable
• LED headlights
I have the center console but removed it to repair some cracks, which I have not got round to doing yet. The cable for the speedometer had melted on the exhaust when I last drove it, so that will need replacing but it has been in storage ever since.
Very solid underneath, although there is some rust in the usual places i. e. quarter panels and bottom of doors! All in all this is a perfectly usable and reliable classic that I have covered some long distances in.
Can take more pictures on request! This Camaro would benefit from some bodywork as it is not showroom condition but is a solid and reliable car.
£17, 500Purchased to be a fun weekend car, I ended up enjoying it so much I used it as my daily for well over a year. I made some improvments by replacing various parts and improving some dashboard wiring and now it is a joy to drive, owing mostly to the manual gearbox it is so much fun all the way through the gears. I am yet to come across another Camaro in my travels, despite showing this at many car shows! After upgrading the headlights to LED it is usable day or night, and gives it a slightly more modern style to the already gorgeous classic look!
