Description
A much loved 1937 Morris Eight Tourer Series 1.
This is a bereavement sale.
The previous owner had a lot of pleasure from this car in the three years he owned it.
The car has attended many shows and events.
The car comes with two files of history including many hand drawn diagrams and past research.
It appears the car was either restored or had a lot of work carried out around 20 years ago.
The car has 12v electrics, an alternator and a 4 speed gearbox making it usable on today’s roads.
The rest of the car is standard.
The engine, gearbox and mechanicals are excellent, the car starts and drives very impressively.
The hydraulic brakes are strong.
The bodywork and underside are superb. The paintwork is good but not perfect as it appears to be around 20 years old.
We are currently having the original radiator rebuilt with new cores.
The original looking hood is useable although garage storage will be required.
We also have a lovely 1935 Austin Seven from the same collection for sale.
