Description
n 1991, a Swiss entrepreneur had this vehicle custom-built for DM 562, 000 with the goal of traveling around the world in it. Consequently, great emphasis was placed on robustness and solid engineering during its construction. Over the course of a multi-year journey, all continents were visited, including driving the Pan-American Highway.
In 2025, the vehicle was completely rebuilt by a specialist workshop, requiring over 750 hours of work (documented costs: €69, 000). The proven, mass-produced truck technology – entirely free of electronics, meaning it can be repaired anywhere in the world without special tools – is combined with state-of-the-art power supply systems, ensuring 100% self-sufficiency.
The rugged drivetrain and chassis guarantee safe progress even off paved roads. Moreover, even without all-wheel drive, this system is far superior to any "all‑wheel‑on‑demand" system.
This vehicle is certainly not suitable for people who are enthusiastic about high-gloss polished furniture and app-controlled technology that only opens doors with a fingerprint. It is a better fit for enthusiasts who prefer to travel with analog, understandable technology. The vehicle underwent a complete interior and exterior overhaul. Particular emphasis was placed on its ability to stand independently for several weeks. State-of-the-art components were used in the process.
