I have owned this car for 16 years. It has had the engine rebuilt with new pistons (forged), bearings, valves guides, & stem seals, injectors (more modern Bosch) new MAF, all new hoses completed around 2k miles ago. The car was originally sold in Melbourne Australia and I imported it when I returned in 2020. The car has not seen a salted road (or been driven in the UK winter) and underneath this shows with no rust. When I brought it over I purchased a mph speedo and had it set the the corresponding kph (which will be supplied with the car). Starts on first turn of the key with a fantastic deep rumble.
A fresh MOT will be supplied with the car. The colour is called Ruby Red and I believe was only available from 84-86, It has the 310HP engine twin dizzy 16v engine which is the one everyone wants due to being a quicker to rev engine than the 32v, similar HP to the 32v without the increased maintenance costs.
The auto box is the 4 speed, whch can be driven as a clutches manual shifting through the gears from 2nd to 4th. (when 2nd is selected it actually pulls away 1st as they normally pull away in 2nd due to the immense torque).
