here we have a fantastic 1979 original sportster, imported from the states and registered by me, the last owner was in Wisconsin and had owned the bike since 1985, this was dry stored and has only covered 24000 miles from new. it is very rare to find one in this condition, original paint ( some scratches) , I have recommissioned the bike, new tyres, chain, sprockets, regulator, battery, all brakes rebuilt, and, mater cylinders and calipers, new wheel bearingsmotor rune really strong and sounds amazing, none of the usual leaks and noises, trans and clutch operate really well, probably the best sportster I have seen in a long time. the bike features the most amazing seat, it is stamped Harley Davidson and I have never seen one like it beforeall in all this rides like new and is completely unmolested, apart from the front mud guard that has been shortenedthe bike is well worth a look and represents a great piece of history, really hard to find these in this condition, it still features the safety stickers from the factorybike is located in London and feel free to call me rather than message, I'm old school and like to discuss bikes rather than type messages. this bike really does ride amazingly wellplease call Damon the details belowonly selling as my workshop is full, not the cheapest sportster out there but certainly one of the bestin my experience there is nothing more expensive than a cheap sportster!SO VERY ORIGINAL
