Description
I have owned this Audi 80 for ten years and I’m not using it often enough to justify keeping it. The the bodywork is in great condition on the body and the chassis, as I kept it dry stored for years and also it has galvanised panels. The the paint itself is in stunning condition for a 37 year old car. On that note in 2-3 years it will be MOT exempt.
New fuel lines.
CAM BELT / TIMING BELT replaced within the last 1000 miles, fully documented.
Brakes were fully replaced last year with refurbished disks and drums, new master cylinder, and new brake lines, as well as protective treatment underneath.
Will have one whole year MOT.
It runs exceptionally well, combining reliability, longevity, and style. It could be someone’s practical (fast appreciating) classic daily driver.
1. 8 litre, naturally aspirated, 4 cylinders. Very enjoyable to drive. In excellent mechanical shape.
I spent a long time searching for the alloys. They are ETA Beta alloys and they were made specifically for this car, in Italy.
Included in the sale of the car will be:
2 keys!
Original owners manual and service record, and a Haynes manual
The original jack
A brand new car cover
The car will also come with all 5 original steel wheels and hub caps.
The Audi 80 has a full service history, with stamps in the original book and invoices, apart from the years it was SORN and dry stored. Obviously it covered zero miles during this time.
The shape and colour of the car are extremely stylish and retro, fitting in nicely with its surroundings in Newquay where you’ll often see classic German cars heading to the shows or the beaches. Plus IMO this car is far superior in terms of reliability to the V-dubs that get a lot of attention! This is something different and turns heads everywhere it goes.
Thanks for looking and look forward to hearing from you.
