Welcome to the sale of my 1998 Honda RVF 400.
This has been a great little bike which I have throughly enjoyed riding during my ownership.
It’s a really analog riding experience which you can enjoy on our UK roads without entering license losing speeds which is part of the bike’s charm and enjoyment.
The previous owner lost the service history and despite that when I viewed the bike its condition spoke for how it had been cared for.
I changed the oil and filter immediately and the old stuff that came out wasn’t bad as that confirms the previous owner having serviced the bike. Air filter also changed.
I have also replaced the radiators as the old ones had seen better days and whilst that work took place I did a coolant flush using Honda Type 2. (I have the receipts for the work I had done)
I have a number of bikes and cars and I enjoy trying the bikes from my childhood and meeting all my old hero’s.
I am not really after any offers as the bike is in great condition and only going upwards in price.
Bike just got a new MOT and has 19205 miles or 30728kms. I like that the Speedo shows miles and has been done properly with a template as often people stick numbers to the dash for miles.
The bike has two sets of keys
I have kept the bike on its trickle charger and e5 fuel in the tank with weekly starts when I am not riding as I don’t want the carbs sitting with old fuel.
