This XL was fully restored in 2012.….. with Burnt Orange colour ( was originally white)It has a Mondeo 2Lt engine with a Sierra gearbox. It has been run once a week/ month since l bought it in 2022. There is a large collection of parts including-The original 1600 engine and gearbox. ( that l believe is in running order)1 full set of glass2 complete sets of bumpers 2 driveshafts Boxes of engine component parts (.. see photos)1 gearbox 1 full set badges Interior door handle trims and fixingsWheel arch trimsIncomplete exhaust The interior is brilliant overall though there is vinyl damage on the drivers seat and the bonnet catch isn’t operational. The suspension bushes were picked up as an advisory on the MOT and need doing. As the photos show, there is light wear and tear on the front edges of the bonnet, slight paint peeling on the inside of the bonnet and on the lower front panel ends ( where the wings are fixed)…and generally all around. The underside components, driveshafts, plates etc will need powder coating plus the bumpers re-chroming but overall they’re in good condition. Please ask for more information if required. This Mk3 XL is fun to drive, it’s reliable ( …l only had to top up the radiator once whilst on a journey to Portsmouth)There is good access to all areas around the engine bay and is straightforward to maintain.
