34 years of ownership since January 1992. Due to space I am offering my very well-maintained and original BMW 325i Touring E30, first registered in July 1988, to a true enthusiast - from a true enthusiast.
All repairs and maintenance work have been carried out regularly by BMW dealerships and, in part, by independent workshops. A full folder of almost 100 service and repair records and a fully stamped service book document the vehicle’s history, including the bill of sale from 1992.
Maintenance / Repairs (approximate years)
2011 – Cylinder head replaced, engine overhauled
2008 – Self-leveling suspension system renewed
2007 – Differential replaced
2008 – Sunroof and tailgate replaced
2011 – Hood and right front fender replaced (minor body damage)
2007 – Original gray cloth interior replaced with a black sport leather interior; rear headrests retrofitted; black headliner installed. The gray door panels were replaced with black artificial-leather door trims.
New original fuel lines installed underneath the vehicle by BMW B&K (now Weller)
Following the purchase of a larger E39 Touring in 2004, the vehicle was used significantly less and deregistered in 2014, but regularly driven 6 – 10 times per year, approximately 300 – 400 km per trip

The car has been detailed and looks stunning.
Between 2014 and 2026, the vehicle was serviced regularly, and all necessary repairs were carried out by BMW and, in part, by an independent workshop.
Total Mileage:
Currently, the odometer reading of the non-original instrument cluster is approx. 197, 500 km. The original instrument cluster failed in November 2004 at a reading of 284, 500 km. A used cluster was then installed in January 2005 with a reading of 153, 600 km. In 2016, at a reading of approx. 212, 000 km, this cluster also stopped working.
In 2017, another used cluster with an odometer reading of approx. 192, 000 km was installed. With the current reading of 197, 500 km, the calculation of the total mileage rounds up to approx. 350, 000 km.

In May 2026, the car received a new TÜV in Hamburg (German technical inspection for street worthiness and safety without ANY issues which is rare for a 38 years old car.

I bought the car when I returned from the US in 1990 after two years in the US and didn't know of the existance of a BMW E30 Touring. Prior to the US I owned a BMW E30 two door 320i and a 320 E21 prior. My new neighour had a brand new 325i Touring E30 and it was clear I wanted the same car. Finally after a few months I found my dream car - which could be yours in the near future.
The BMW E30 Touring is the very first station wagon ever built by the company. Only few of those very special cars, only built from 1987 - 1993/ 1994 still exist and are driven. The BMW 325i is by far the rarest of those beautiful cars.
