This is my Ironhead Chopper I’v owned for nearly 10 years, in that time I have done many miles both here in the UK and all over Europe. It was built at So-Low Choppers years ago and has real provenance as previous owners to me also used it to travel all around Europe. After all these miles I realized it probably would benefit from a refresh so it’s recently had new fork bushes and seals and a fork brace, CV carb which nearly doubled the mpg, old carb comes with it, Dyna S electronic ignition, old points plate comes with it, new front ribbed Firestone tyre, new heavy duty drive chain, EBC clutch plates and spring, new top end rebuild including piston and rings, rockers valve guide oil seals etc, it’s now faster than it’s ever been, economical and definitely the most comfortable bike I’v ridden ( riding for 50+ years ) It also has a one off stainless 2 into 1 exhaust, stainless sissybar, unique piston rear light, chrome rear sprocket, drilled discs and new seal kits in front and rear calipers and master cylinders which means the brakes actually work. It’s registered as Historic so no tax and mot to worry about. If your ready to ride a 70’s style cool chopper, it’s ready to go !
