Description
For sale is my characterful Austin Healey Sprite Mk III, which was manufactured in 1964 and exported immediately to Barbados, where it spent much of its life before being repatriated to the UK in 1989. It has a Heritage Certificate and has matching numbers for engine and body.
It is largely unmolested and would make an ideal basis for a full restoration back to its former glory or just enjoy as is. These early Sprites are appreciating. Car starts and runs well with good temperatures and pressures, it also stops well! Car comes with a period workshop manual, 1964 Sales Brochure and a period Owners Handbook. There is also a newly powder coated hood frame and new Mohair hood (needs to be fitted). Also four very low mileage Blockley tyres.

-It has been repainted from original Old English White to Tartan Red at some point a long time ago.
-Paint crack on bonnet due to heat crazing.
-Corrosion around the edges and to dashboard.
-Horn push/ steering wheel boss is missing.
History
This Austin Healey Sprite Mk III, was manufactured on 23 March 1964 and exported a month later to Barbados, where it spent much of its life before being repatriated to the UK in 1989. It is believed to have spent many years in storage prior to my ownership in 2021, so given its long term residence in the Caribbean, the 18150 miles indicated could well be correct.
It has a Heritage Certificate and has matching numbers for engine, chassis and body.
Great fun to drive and draws smiles wherever it goes!
