Description
On offer is this 1969 MGC GT 3ltr straight six engine believed to have covered a mere 26k miles since new and only 4 previous owners on the most recent V5 document. Remained in the same family since the mid 1970’s this car was last officially on the road back in 1986. Garaged stored throughout this time the car had a £24k restoration comprising of engine refresh, full body glass out repaint in Mineral Blue, new interior, stainless exhaust, replacement wiring loom, refurbed set of 5 wire wheels and new tyres etc etc as can be seen by the renovation invoices the car has been restored properly. This work took place over a five year period but unfortunately after completion the owner was too ill to ever drive it so it sat again garaged for the past 2 year just venturing out for its last two advisory free MOT’s. So the car has a MOT until May 2027 for prospective buyers piece of mind. The car is superb in all areas and looks as stunning in the flesh as it does in the pictures. I have today sent logbook off to get historic status so that it will then become tax and MOT free. As the car had been stood a mini service on the mechanicals has taken place with new plug leads, plugs, distributor cap, rotor arm and coil being replaced for good quality parts. New period correct licence plates have been fitted also. Leather seats are sumptuous and all interior is very clean indeed, the dash was restored as part of the works and looks superb. The car performs as it should on the road with overdrive working correctly. I doubt you will find a better condition MGC at this price point!!!! There is zero rust or rot anywhere on this beautiful example everywhere you look is fantastic underside, exterior, engine bay and boot floor areas. I can provide further photos and a walkround video of the car via WhatsApp for serious buyers just message with your telephone number. Physical viewings are welcomed and encouraged
