Description
Honda CB450 K1 1968 'Black Bomber'I am selling my very rare and special Honda Black Bomber. I bought it as an import 6 years ago from Dave Silver Spares. Since having it the engine has been stripped and rebuilt. Rebored with 0. 25 oversize pistons. Valves have been lapped and the cams/ torsion bars checked. The crank shaft has been checked as well. The rear swing arm bushing has been changed. Plus I have done upgrades to some of the electrics including a combine regulator/ rectifier from Common Motor in the US. It is a really lovely bike with low mileage at 7, 599 although likely to go up as I am still running it. Last year I rode it round Ireland for a month and it didn't fail me once. Currently I am running it around Cornwall while the sun is out and she is running beautifully. I am selling due to a move and I have another old vintage bike and I have decided one is enough! As you can see in the last photo I have a custom built pannier rack and some really nice Touratech panniers which I am happy to throw in for an extra £500. Currently the back indicators are set up for this pannier rack but they can be easily moved back to their original position. Please only serious enquiries and offers. This is a rare beauty, I haven't seen another one anywhere so if you are keen get in touch! This is such a beautiful bike. I have grown up learning on Honda CBs and always found them to be reliable and lovely to ride. The black bomber is a rare and attention grabbing bike and great for shorter or longer trips. It always attracts lots of attention and good chats! And set up with my panniers I have taken it on many trips up to Wales and around Cornwall with my camping gear.
