1957 Ford Thunderbird for sale. This car has the all important factory options of automatic gearbox, power steering and power brakes which makes the car a real pleasure to drive. It was also built with reversing lights which was another factory option. I have had this car for ten years and in that time have restored her to the condition she is in now. Over £15, 000 has been spent to create one of the best T-Birds in the UK. This is a rust free car that lived in Maryland in the USA for most of its life, the previous owner in the USA owning it from 1972 until it came to the UK in 2015. Literally everything has been done with new parts from either Larry's Thunderbird or Casco in the USA. The list reads like this, All new brakes including master cylinder, power steering parts and hoses, water pump, radiator, electric fan, alternator (Powermaster that looks like an original dynamo), starter motor , electronic ignition, custom made stainless exhaust system correctly exiting through the rear bumper, new springs and adjustable GAZ shocks, rear anti roll bar, fuel tank, leather seats and door cappings, carpet, radial tyres, perfectly rechromed bumpers (£3500!!) and many small items including chrome and trim parts. Invoices kept. The car will also come with a portable stand to hold the roof when it is removed from the car, workshop manuals, handbook and original sales brochure. This car featured on the front page and six pages inside Classic American Magazine in July 2019. She is kept in an air conditioned room and has been lovingly cared for over the years. The mileage is showing 87, 823 which I believe to be correct after speaking to the previous owner in the USA.
