Model Background
The Mini Tahiti was a limited‑run 1993 special edition (total 500 made) distinguished by its deep Tahiti Blue paintwork and unique trim. Surviving examples in strong mechanical and cosmetic condition are becoming increasingly scarce, making this a desirable opportunity for collectors and Mini enthusiasts alike.
Provenance & Ownership
First registered: 1993
Owned by me since 2014 and previously my Dad since 4 August 2005.
Stored indoors for the last 20 years with only intermittent use.
Cylinder head refurbished in 2006.
Last serviced October 2025. Less than 25 miles covered since service.
Full body respray in 2008 (Tahiti decals removed during paintwork, white roof and coach line added). Tahiti decals are still available from a Mini specialist.
A fresh MOT can be supplied upon sale.
Condition
The car presents extremely well, with a deep shine to the paintwork and clean, straight panels. As is common with Minis of this era, there is minor rust on the lower door skins, which is clearly shown in the photographs. Structurally, the car remains solid and drives with the lively character expected of a well‑sorted 1990s Mini.
The interior has been sympathetically upgraded while retaining the charm of the original design.

This Mini benefits from a Stage 1 tuning kit paired with the iconic RC40 exhaust system, providing improved breathing, sharper throttle response, and the unmistakable classic Mini soundtrack without being intrusive.
