Very High Spec' Ford Mondeo MKIV 2. 5T Titanium X Hatch, not Saloon. 2008 ('57 plate).
(Last of the large fast petrol fords? Future modern classic with huge spec' and tech' for year).
Ex-Ford UK Management vehicle, with only 3 previous keepers including myself.
I've owned it since Dec' 2013.
Last Serviced Feb' 2022 @ 127, 705 miles.
New MOT 14/ 08/ 2024 @ 129, 154 miles.
Advisory; Some underside surface corrosion due to salted roads!
common issue apparently... Not driven since MOT, now expired.
Full and comprehensive service history with Ford and PB Motor Services (Excellent local garage), since purchase.
Massive file of all repairs/ service/ extras/ parts and receipts since ownership.
No accidents or major repairs. Never written-off, scrapped (print-out), no pets, smoked in or stolen/ broken in to.
Only selling because not used since before the COLC, currently SORN, garaged and covered.
New battery recently fitted. Started and runs perfectly.

Engine/ Running gear;
Motor runs perfectly and uses little or no oil. Very smooth and quiet given the mileage and never 'raced or rallied' because family car…
E. G. Did a 450 mile round trip 4 up and car returned 35. 3 mpg in a mixture of A roads and Motorway's.
The clutch is fine, with no juddering or slipping, despite mileage and remap.
Exhaust not too loud, some interior droning but acceptable.
I believe it requires a FoMoCo ECU software/ firmware update, but never done because it would remove the remap!
Subsequently, no fast idle on cold start-up, but not an issue.
Easy reset and does not affect performance.
EGM light sometimes comes-on because lack of back-pressure at exhaust 2nd Lambda Sensor. Also an easy reset .
Handbrake needs adjusting (2-3 clicks instead of 5-6 now) after cables replaced, but works fine.
Bodywork;
Obligatory stone chips on bonnet and grill. A bit ugly but not terrible.
Near side front Fog Light lens cracked.
Small stone chip on drivers side of windscreen. Not MOT failure.
Two small dents on front passenger door, due to ignorant supermarket trolley/ parking!
Near side rear wheel-arch dull, after I tried to repair/ respray flaking lacquer.
Both sides of bottom seals resprayed after English salted roads removed paint!
Interior;
Generally very good, with no rips or tears on the seats, carpets or headlining.
Smoke and pet free too.
Drivers seat and steering wheel has some expected wear and some switches show signs of wear.
Everything works as it should including the now small by modern standards, touch screen, controls, DVD player and screens.
