A very loyal customer of local BMW dealer Cooper Cobham ordered this wonderful E39 from the factory as a retirement gift back in 2001.

The car has been known since new and features an extensive and unusual options list, with the former BA pilot signing off his affiliation with the brand in style.

Finished in Topaz Blue Metallic the car has clearly been garaged from new and presents very well with a consistent shine throughout. There are a couple of touch ups around the body but nothing to detract from what is, and has been, a very well looked after example. Usual weak points around the sills, arches and boot are clean and clear from corrosion. The Style 42 wheels are a rare option, especially given most would opt for M Parallels, and really suit the car; these formed part of the factory order and look fantastic wrapped in nearly new Michelin rubber.

Inside the light grey upholstery appears in excellent condition as you would expect from an owner of a certain age. It is here you begin to realise that this is no normal E39 with all the in - period boxes ticked;
