Description
2000 Rover Mini Cooper Sport in last edition colours of British Racing Green with Silver roof, matching bonnet stripes and mirrors. I purchased this example from a well known mini specialist in September 2021. I am listing for sale due to other life commitments and time to use the vehicle. Last year I covered just 81 miles in the car. INTERIOR It has the correct full black and silver leather interior with alloy effect dashboard and alloy door furniture. It still has its original Rover radio cassette and FM radio. This Mini Cooper has been maintained and serviced to a very high level. The history file shows a full stamped book with detailed invoices showing what was completed on every service. I also have the past MOTs to support the mileage, I also have kept a mileage journal showing every journey I have taken in the car. HISTORYIn 2014 it was purchased by its last owner who bought it from a lady who had owned it for the previous 12 years. She had serviced it well but there where some signs of corrosion so he employed a Mini Specialist to bring the car back to a high standard. The only real way to achieve this, is with panel replacement. I have a photographic record of the process. It had 2 new front wings, new front panel, new scuttle panel, new sills and door steps, new A panels and 2 new door skins. Every panel was purchased from Heritage so the panel gaps are as they should be. It was then protected underneath and since the work was completed has always been garaged and I have only used in the summer months. Due to the high level of servicing it drives very well and is great fun. It has Yokohama A539 tyres which are the best for the Cooper Sport model giving a better ride comfort and strong cornering ability. It also has hi- low suspension front and rear so the ride height can be adjusted. It is in fantastic condition for its age, when purchasing I looked at several minis before choosing this one. I am confident there are fewer examples with the history and pedigree of this one being offered for sale currently. Has passed MOT on 16th July 2026 so has a full year clean MOT - advisories addressed and rectified with invoice to prove this.- The car has a comprehensive service portfolio- Serviced even when not required by me to maintain this- Cared for by a local independent classic car specialist (Local specialist says its the best he has ever driven and drives like factory new examples)-Documented restoration portfolio- Original bill of sale- V5 in my name showing 3 previous owners (Was pre-registered to Faraday Rover in April 2000)- Original book pack and Owners manual- Stamped service record with invoices to fully verify mileage- In arguably the best colour combination available making this a true British classic - Dry stored in garaged conditions all year round- Sympathetically used on select occasions
