Description
A well-kept and very honest 1987 Range Rover Classic, showing just 70, 590 miles from new and presented in notably well-cared-for condition throughout.
This is a sound, usable example that has clearly benefited from careful ownership. It has been kept in a secure dry garage during my ownership, and that care is reflected in the way the vehicle presents and drives. The interior is a particular strength, with the fabric surfaces in remarkable condition for a car of this age and giving the cabin a very original, well-preserved feel.
Mechanically, the car is in good order and drives very well. It starts, runs and performs as it should, and the transmission is especially pleasing, operating smoothly and without the clonky behaviour that can so often detract from these cars.
The car also retains its original body-coloured three-spoke wheels, which suit it well and add to its correct period appearance. In 2025 it benefited from a new set of Goodyear Wrangler tyres, which have covered less than 500 miles, as well as a new alternator.
In summary, this is a well looked-after Range Rover Classic with low mileage, a notably well-preserved interior, and the sort of mechanical manners that make it an enjoyable and reassuring example to use.
The vehicle is for sale privately and is located in New Milton, Hampshire.
