Things to Note
I’d rather be completely honest than waste anyone’s time.
The bonnet sits slightly misaligned. From what I was told, it was repeatedly opened and closed during the Japanese auction process, which has chipped the paint where the bonnet meets the tops of the wings.
Mismatched Recaro front seats.
Front brake has a squeak. I believe it’s likely to be a sticking caliper that would benefit from a rebuild. Rebuild kits are readily available on eBay for around £50.
Like most ST205s, it has a few small rust spots underneath around the door sills, but overall it’s a nice, solid car.
I don’t have access to a ramp, so I can’t provide underside photos, but it’s fairly clean underneath for its age.
Happy to answer any questions, send additional photos or videos, or discuss the car in more detail via DMI bought it because I've always wanted to own a genuine GT-Four ST205. They're becoming increasingly hard to find in honest, unmodified condition and are an iconic piece of Toyota's rally heritage. My favourite thing about the car is how it feels to drive—it's a proper 90s Japanese performance car with plenty of character, and it always gets attention wherever it goes
