Rare vehicle has been in storage since 1987, in a dry garage and not used or started since. Originally a US specification RHD for Hong Kong export with fairy lights on front and rear wings. Chrome oversills, webasto sunroof (not closing if I recall). Original body work although showing usual MG rust in areas. Will need restoration.
It was my first car at 18 yrs, washed and loved whilst on the road. Company car forced it to go into storage, not moved since.
It’s an original chrome number, 5 bearing crank, automatic to US spec but RHD as it was originally an order to Hong Kong.
Not many of these exist.
Hoped my boys would want to restore it, but they want newer cars, with A/ C, electric windows, Bluetooth connection, ABS and Airbags. What do they know :)
Vehicle is in a rented garage 22 miles from my home. Cannot confirm the mileage but 85k is a good estimate.
