Owned this amazing car for almost 3years and it's been a pleasure to own and take to shows with the vw community. Purchased on 24000 and have done some amazing road trips and shows around the country racking up 6000 miles.
The car is that good we still mot it not like most who get to an age and they think they don't need and MOT it's a safety requirement in my book.
This car can only be described as near perfect in everyway and is still mot'd even though exempt.
Things that have been done in no particular order.
Painted rocker cover and new gaskets, new spark plugs, new genuine Bosch HT leads, oil , filter and air filter, radiator and new rad switch, new exhaust back box and hanger, new brake discs and pads, screen wash washer pump, new tyres and painted wheels and all lamps changed.
And the all important cambelt and water pump kit old ones with car to prove they were original.
Panasonic radio cassette and alpine rear speakers
Everything works !!
Starts immediately and drives seriously like new and as I've stated a pleasure to own and only for sale due to purchasing a harlequin caddy van from the tatton park car show.
We already own 2 X show cars
Golf GTi MK2 1988 3door BBS auto finesse 1. 8T
And
VW Jetta MK1 1980 in Florida blue with a pd130 engine swap.
So the beautiful polo has to unfortunately find a new owner !!
My mechanic who works on the car calls it Dom's treasure and I maintain this car better than anything I've owned and it shows it's in near perfect condition and wouldn't take much to make it concourse.
