Sadly my beloved one off Spitfire Special is up for sale, built in the early 1990's by my self (aeronautical engineer) this car epitomises the 1930's style of single seat racers, using a past saving 1968 Spitfire Mk3 as the donor car for all the mechanicals - the body was hand formed (English wheel) in aluminium and has been fitted around a steel frame on a strengthened chassis. Every single nut bolt and component was fitted new or reconditioned - all the main assemblies were kept with the correct original serial numbers, the car comes with overdrive on 3rd and 4th.
