This vehicle was built in 1939 and with the outbreak of war it was soon put into service by the British Army. It served as a radio vehicle on the East Coast. The vehicle has currently been converted as a flatbed. Due to its pre-war construction, it is a 6-cylinder, which is unique today. After all, only 4-cylinders were built during the war. A beautiful, unique Morris Commercial CS8 from 1939. It is one of the few 6 cylinders still in existence. It was originally equipped as a radio car. The current state is flatbed. For the reenactors among us, an ideal tent on wheels. The vehicle was beautifully restored with an eye for detail and still contains numerous authentic details. The history of this vehicle is known. In short; During the Great War it served as a means of transport for a science officer from a radio unit who was operational at the coastline. After the war, the vehicle served in local trade and agriculture until it was picked up in a rather poor condition by an ambitious restorer. Over the years, the vehicle was converted to the flatbed version as it is today. The vehicle is currently located in Belgium.
